hunting

some people call it Job Hunting. My friend Tom refered to it as carpet bombing....basically what i have been doing, just firing off applications and resumes at every opportunity. so far 4 rejection letters, one was at least nice enough to say i was well qualified, but not the most qualified. I am so ready to be done with all of this stuff. I have had a few good leads, and a lot of valliant effort on my part but it seems i am the proverbial choo choo train with square wheels.

seriously enough it feels like dating. get your hopes and courage up, bravely open yourself up to a prospect and get rejectedfor no other reason than you weren't as good as the next guy. I would imagine that now is my cue to call up these corporate entities whoever they may be and wait a second or two and hang up.

well, not really, but it sure did make me feel like I was accomplishing something. Never worked. It would be nice if a prospective employer would ask me to work for them. sure would make it easy. I'd settle for anything right now. I sure hope for some light at the end of the tunnel
